There’s No Place Like Home! South Bend City Celebration is a year-long party of events and programs that showcase all that South Bend has to enjoy! Festivities will be held on the 29th of every month (no February event) at City parks, museums, and other venues throughout South Bend. Each event has been designed to entertain residents and visitors from 3 to 103! Bring your family, friends, and all of your neighbors—everyone is invited! The calendar of City Celebration events is the perfect way to explore South Bend, at locals including the Pierre Navarre Cabin at Leeper Park, the Muessel-Ellison & Ella Morris Greenhouse & Conservatories, Howard Park Ice Rink, St. Joseph Co. Public Library, the College Football Hall of Fame, Northern Indiana Center for History, South Bend Regional Museum of Art, Studebaker National Museum, City Cemetery, Coveleski Stadium, and the Jon R. Hunt Plaza (in front of the Morris Performing Arts Center). City Celebration is a collaboration between the City of South Bend and the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County. It is designed to complement the implementation of City Plan, South Bend’s new 20-year strategic plan for growth and development. The vision expressed by South Bend residents in the Plan includes activities to promote community building and arts and culture in our City. |
